NYSC releases mobilization timetable for 2018 Batch A Prospective Corps Members (PCMs)

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management has successful deployed 2017 Batch B stream 1 Corps Members to all States of the Federation for their service year and NYSC 2017 Batch B Stream 2 orientation camp course is scheduled to commence on January 16th, 2018.

While the NYSC 2017 Batch B Stream 2 Corps members are waiting for their call-up letters and posting to camp in various state for their service year, it's pertinent to plan early as a Batch A 2018 NYSC Prospective Corps Member (PCM).

You may ask: When would registration start for 2018 Batch A NYSC Members? What is the orientation camp date for NYSC Batch A 2018? When would Batch A 2018 Timetable be released?

At the moment, there is no official date for registration and mobilization of NYSC Batch A 2018 Prospective Corps Members (PCMs). 

The timetable for registration, mobilization, orientation camp date for NYSC 2018 Batch A PCMs will be released when the 2017 Batch B stream 2 must have completed their orientation.

Asking which State pays the highest State allowance (allowii) and lobbying to go there won't be necessary if you are well prepared for the Service Year. There are many practical ways of earning extra income during your service year and you'll be surprised that you can earn more than the highest paid state allowance (allowee) in the Country.

Having a skill could really make your service year enjoyable irrespective of which State you are posted to. I'll advise you start now to plan for NYSC service year and also life after NYSC. If you don't have a skill, acquire one either while you are in school or immediately you are done with school.
